Good day, I am having a Lenovo Z580 running on Windows 7 and I was offered the free Upgrade to Windows 10. My only concern is, would it be affecting all my ANY of my files? And also the Drivers? My experience with Windows 7 was that I was offered to upgrade to Windows 8 as well, which after so, all my drivers failed to run and I had to take my PC to Lenovo center to do a clean installation.

The never slow down Lenovo utility looks to be a registry optimisation program. Its not necessary for the every day running of a Windows OS and is safe to uninstall. It is not a driver so it certainly won't hold you back from running Windows 10. I advise clean installation of Windows 10 via.iso when its out that way you will be able to get rid of bloatware preinstalled by Lenovo.
Hello, I also have Lenovo Ideapad Z580 i3 with 4GB RAM and running on windows 7 home basic 64 bit OS. I want a clean installion of windows 10. So I have downloaded an ISO file of windows 10 64 bit from this link provided on microsoft answer page The reason I am writing this - I was thinking that after the clean installion of windows 10 on my lenovo Z580 I will download all the device drivers from Lenovo official support page.
But when now I am checking the page then its showing drivers download only for windows 7, 8 and 8.1 only. There are no option to download the drivers for windows 10.

I upgraded using windows update on 29th only. But prior to update I had uninstalled most of my apps (left the drivers & some utility only). If it helps, U don't need to update from windows update. If you are having already downloaded iso from Microsoft, u can update from that only. The process was mostly the same though u will get additional options like clean install or keep the settings etc. In both case u won't have to input activation key manually.
